Ulcinj Salina, Montenegro, is one of the biodiversity hotspots along the Adriatic Flyway. The aim of the project was to provide neccesary information for establishment of a protected area which will ensure preservation of the natural values and identification of those economic activities which are compatible to the ecological character of the area. Scenarios for the most appropriate management model for the area were presented.
